MK O’Donnell is a Chicago-based abstract artist, painter, and creative director who sees the world as an exchange of energy. Her work is deeply intuitive, shaped by emotion and guided by the belief that art helps us process what words alone can’t. As the current Art Curator for TEDxChicago, she’s passionate about storytelling, community, and the power of artists to reflect and reimagine the world around us.

Her paintings begin with feeling, not a plan—layered phrases, rhythms, and moments that speak to her in real time. Each piece blends chaos with beauty, creating space for reflection and emotional connection.

MK’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, TEDxChicago, and national campaigns like Sun Chips x Bobby Berk. She’s exhibited at CONTEXT Miami and SPECTRUM Miami, and collaborated with brands like Bar Chido, Spindletap Coffee, and The Ambassador Hotel. With over 15 years of creative experience, MK brings both heart and strategy to everything she does—whether she’s painting a mural or curating a show.

She believes in the magic of Chicago’s art scene and the quiet power of creating something that stirs someone, even for a moment.
